Pardon our Dust!
As part of the ongoing Granada campus improvements, construction related to our municipal sewer connection is temporarily affecting some parking areas on campus.
Thank you for your patience and flexibility as we continue improving our campus. Further updates will be communicated as they become available and as the project progresses. We look forward to welcoming our GDS families back!
Project update 8/28:
The sewer connect project continues to move forward. This weekend we have our exciting Group Rush event in the fellowship hall. The Bird Road parking lot is open for parking. Please be careful! There are areas of uneven walkways and separated areas of construction equipment and materials. The vacant lot on the corner of Bird and Granada is always a great place to park with easy access to the front of the sanctuary. Our playground area is partially ready. The fences are not secure, so we ask that you not use the playground this weekend unless you are within the fenced areas on the east side of the GDS office. (Red playground and Infant playground) . Thank you for your patience. We look forward to seeing you on Sunday!
Project update 8/27:
We love our neighbors! Please do not park on the grass or driveways of nearby houses. You should not park by any of the houses on University Dr. We have plenty of parking all around campus and across the street in the Bird Road lots. See map below.
Project update 8/26:
The parking lot is open for use with entry and exit both available. There are a few spaces blocked off to allow traffic around the pipes and debris. Teachers can return to University Drive, families can return to Bird Road parking lot. Walk carefully as it can be a tripping hazard.
Granada Day School Hours
On-site School Hours:
Infants/Younger Toddlers: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
PreK 1 – PreK 3: 8:15 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Full Day VPK: 8:15 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
The first day of school for the Child Care Center (Infants & Younger Toddlers) is August 13, 2026. The last day of school is July 30, 2027.
The first day of school for the Preschool (PreK 1- VPK) is August 13, 2026. The last day of school is June 2, 2027.
Uniform Policy
Our uniform policy is as follows:
- Child Care Center (Infants and Toddlers): No uniform required
- Preschool (PreK 1- VPK): Uniform required
Uniform Guidelines:
All children must wear:
- Polos or T-shirts with GDS apple logo (see color choices in attachment)
- Khaki or navy blue bottoms (shorts, pants, skorts)
- Shoes must be closed toe, any brand (no flip-flops, ballet slippers, Crocs, etc.)
