Pardon our Dust!
As part of the ongoing Granada campus improvements, construction related to our municipal sewer connection is temporarily affecting some parking areas on campus.
Thank you for your patience and flexibility as we continue improving our campus. Further updates will be communicated as they become available and as the project progresses. We look forward to welcoming our GDS families back!
Project update 9/29:
Electricians will be working in the hallways from the communication office all the way to the birds courtyard from Tuesday to Wednesday. At some point on Wednesday, the corner classroom will need to be moved so they can work on that ceiling.
On Tuesday or Wednesday, a dump truck will remove all debris from the parking lot. This will cause temporary work in the parking lot, but no need to close the parking lot. Sidewalk repair will happen this week. Please avoid wet concrete.
The playground sidewalk repair may cause temporary closure of the playground on Thursday or Friday. We will coordinate for the least impact.
Project update 9/25:
We have connected to the sewer main! A few more tests, and we will begin to abandon each septic tank and activate the pump system.
Parking is at 90% with a few spaces blocked by construction debris. Most of the playground is accessible and available for play. Please be careful on sidewalks and driveways, as some areas are still construction zones. In a couple of weeks, all should be back to normal.
Granada Day School Hours
On-site School Hours:
Infants/Younger Toddlers: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
PreK 1 – PreK 3: 8:15 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Full Day VPK: 8:15 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
The first day of school for the Child Care Center (Infants & Younger Toddlers) is August 13, 2026. The last day of school is July 30, 2027.
The first day of school for the Preschool (PreK 1- VPK) is August 13, 2026. The last day of school is June 2, 2027.
Uniform Policy
Our uniform policy is as follows:
- Child Care Center (Infants and Toddlers): No uniform required
- Preschool (PreK 1- VPK): Uniform required
Uniform Guidelines:
All children must wear:
- Polos or T-shirts with GDS apple logo (see color choices in attachment)
- Khaki or navy blue bottoms (shorts, pants, skorts)
- Shoes must be closed toe, any brand (no flip-flops, ballet slippers, Crocs, etc.)
