Celebrating the 100th Day of School at Granada Day School

The 100th Day of School is a joyful milestone at Granada Day School and a meaningful moment to celebrate how far our students have come. On Wednesday, January 28, our school community will pause to recognize the growth, learning, and development that have taken place since the beginning of the year.

From infants to preschoolers, each child experiences the 100th Day in a way that is age appropriate and thoughtfully planned by their teachers. Through hands on activities centered around the number 100, students engage in learning that is fun, creative, and meaningful. These experiences reflect both academic progress and important developmental milestones.

A Celebration of Growth and Learning

The 100th Day of School is about more than counting. It is a chance to celebrate confidence, curiosity, and perseverance. As children participate in classroom activities, they are reminded of how much they have learned and how capable they are. For families, this day offers a glimpse into the learning happening in the classroom and the ways children continue to grow socially, emotionally, and academically.

Teachers design each activity with care, ensuring it meets the needs of their students and supports learning through play, exploration, and connection. These moments help children feel proud of their accomplishments and excited about what is still ahead.

Rooted in Our Mission

At Granada Day School, we are committed to nurturing the whole child. Celebrations like the 100th Day of School reflect our mission by honoring growth, fostering joy, and encouraging a love for learning in a supportive, Christ-centered environment. Each milestone reminds us that learning is a journey and that every step matters.

We are grateful to walk alongside our students and families as children continue to grow hearts and minds for Jesus. The 100th Day of School is a beautiful reminder of the progress made and the joy found in learning together.

We look forward to celebrating this special milestone with our students and teachers and continuing the journey ahead.
