Every December, the Granada Day School family gathers for one of the most meaningful moments of our year. Our annual Christmas Program brings students, families, and staff together to celebrate the birth of Jesus through worship, music, and joyful performance. It is a cherished tradition that reflects the heart of who we are as a school.
This year’s program will take place on Thursday, December 18, directed by our talented music leader, Mr. Higor Ribeiro. The morning begins with a warm and welcoming breakfast reception from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Families can enjoy time together, meet other parents, and prepare their hearts for the celebration ahead. Sanctuary doors will open at 10:00 a.m., and the program will begin promptly at 10:30 a.m.

A Morning Filled With Meaning
The Christmas Program is more than a performance. It is a worship experience led by our students. Children sing, recite Scripture, and share the message of Christmas in ways that are sweet, heartfelt, and full of joy. Parents and grandparents often say this is one of their favorite events of the year, a moment where they can watch their children shine and feel God’s presence in a real and simple way.
For our students, the program builds confidence, leadership, and a deeper understanding of the Christmas story. They learn that celebrating Jesus is something we do together as a school family. These moments help shape their faith and remind them that they are loved by God and surrounded by a community that cares for them.
A Celebration of Community
One of the most beautiful parts of this event is the sense of togetherness it brings. Families gather in the sanctuary, friends greet one another, and the room fills with warmth and excitement. In a busy season, this morning offers a peaceful and joyful pause where we can slow down and remember what Christmas is all about.
For prospective families, this program highlights what makes GDS special. We are committed to creating a Christ-centered environment where children grow spiritually, academically, and emotionally. Events like this show the heart of our mission to grow hearts and minds for Jesus and to build a strong, loving community around our students.

Looking Forward to a Beautiful Morning
We cannot wait to gather with our families on December 18 and celebrate the birth of our Savior. Whether you are a long time member of the GDS family or a new parent learning more about our school, we invite you to join us for this beautiful tradition. It will be a morning filled with joy, worship, and hope as we celebrate the greatest gift of all, Jesus Christ.
If you are exploring schools or considering joining the GDS community, we would love to welcome you and show you what makes our campus such a special place for children to learn and grow.
