On Friday, September 5, 2025, Granada Day School welcomed grandparents from across our community for a morning filled with joy, gratitude, and family connection. The Grandparents Celebration has quickly become one of the most treasured events of the year, and this year was no exception.
A Special Start in the Chapel
The morning began in the Chapel with a service honoring the role grandparents play in the lives of our children. Together, we reflected on the importance of family, faith, and tradition. The Chapel was filled with smiles and warm greetings as grandchildren proudly sat alongside their grandparents.
Time in the Classroom
After the service, grandparents joined their grandchildren in the classroom for quality time. Teachers prepared welcoming spaces filled with student artwork, family-themed displays, and cozy corners for sharing stories. The highlight of the morning came when each child presented their grandparent with a handcrafted gift made especially for them. The joy on the faces of both children and grandparents spoke louder than words.
A Community of Gratitude
Light breakfast and coffee gave families a chance to linger, connect, and enjoy fellowship with one another. Conversations flowed easily as grandparents met teachers, explored the classrooms, and saw firsthand the nurturing environment their grandchildren experience every day.
