At Granada Day School, we believe childhood milestones are worth celebrating. That’s why our VPK Certificate Ceremony and Kindergarten Graduation on June 3, 2025, is such an important day for our students, families, and teachers.
This isn’t just a graduation. It’s a reflection of the growth we’ve seen in each child—and a chance to thank God for what He’s done in their hearts and minds this year.
What to Expect
The morning begins with a graduation procession. Dressed in caps and gowns, the children will walk in to “Pomp and Circumstance.” It’s a moment families remember for years.
Each VPK class will sing a song they’ve been practicing and receive a certificate and photo with the director.
Then it’s time for our Kindergarten graduates to receive their diplomas and a gold medal. As part of the Kindergarten Gold Ceremony, students are recognized for achieving 545 developmental milestones. Families are honored too—each parent receives a gold medal as a symbol of the love and effort poured into this journey.
Why This Moment Matters
In a fast-moving world, it’s easy to miss the meaning in these little steps. But here, we pause. We celebrate.
We want our students to know their growth matters. That their effort, their learning, and their faith journey are all part of something bigger.
And we want them to see that family and community are part of that journey. Your presence shows your child they’re supported and loved—not just at home, but here too.
A Day to Remember: Berry Farms
After the ceremony, our Kindergarten graduates will head to Berry Farms for a day of fun and reflection. They’ll receive:
- A personalized Bible
- A graduation pin
- Their graduation plate
This trip gives students a joyful, meaningful close to their year—full of connection, laughter, and gratitude. Parents are invited to come along and enjoy this special moment too.
More Than a Ceremony
Graduation isn’t just about moving up a grade. It’s about recognizing how far our students have come—and who they’re becoming.
It’s about staying true to our mission: growing hearts and minds for Jesus.
We’re honored to walk alongside your family, and we’re so proud of your children.
We can’t wait to celebrate with you on June 3.
