Admissions Procedures

We greatly appreciate your interest in Granada Day School and thank you for the opportunity to share information about our school with you.  Granada Day School welcomes applications of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin.  We have tried to make the application process as thorough as necessary yet as simple as possible.  It is important in this process that you learn as much as you can about Granada Day School. By the same token it is important that we are able to know your child to ensure the match between your child and our school is a successful one.

Admission Procedures for all new students:

  1. Complete and return the registration form, together with the registration fee of $350.00.  The registration fee is non- refundable / non- transferable.
  2. A copy of the child’s Birth Certificate and or passport.
  3. Original Health Form (DH 3040) and Vaccine records (DH 680) which you may obtain from your child’s pediatrician) Students without valid health, vaccine forms and birth certificate will not be enrolled for the 2012-2013 school year.
  4. Fees due May 1st and June 1st must be paid by the first of each month to ensure a space for your child for the 2012-2013 school year. These fees are nonrefundable / non-transferable
  5. Parents are required, according to law, to read and sign the following:
    1. Know Your Child’s Day Care Center (DCF brochure).
    2. Alternative Nutrition Plan Agreement. (Included in registration form)
    3. Disciplinary Practices used by Granada Day School. (Included in registration form)
  6. In addition, parents are required to sign an Emergency / Field Trip Permission Release form (Included with the enrollment packet) and to read the Parent Handbook and return the last page signed the first week of school.
  7. Receive and sign the Influenza Virus Brochure.
  8. Permission Form to video / photograph student
